If you are fortunate enough to get into the class, be prepared to work hard prior to the retreat! You will be making 16 focus blocks (all the same or similar) of a pre-assigned size, with color palette inspired by the fabric kit. This block is to be representative of the theme AND your skill as a quiltmaker. You will also complete 16 filler blocks, all the same or similar, or a simpler, yet complimentary design. When you come to class, you will trade blocks with the other class members, be given a "map" of the quilt, and then start sewing. By the end of the class period, your quilt top should be essentially complete, other than the borders.
FABRIC PACKET: $20.00 PATTERN: $5.00 (REQUIRED) Teachers will send information and pattern to participants. They will receive the focus fabric and instructions for completing their portion of the quilt.
