34 Twirls

  Gather up your polka dots - or other prints, and a few backgrounds for this fun,
twirly quilt.  Using a quick and easy paper piecing technique, you'll have your
pie slices done in no time. Great "Two Peas in a Pod" pattern.



TWIRL
Quilt Size:  52½" x 65½"
Block Size:  6"

Fabric Requirements:
            Polka dots:       32 fat quarters of different polka dots
            Background:    1½ yards pink polka dot on white
                                    1½ yards white polka dot on pink
            Sashing:           ¾ yard pink polka dot on brown
            Posts:               ⅛ yard brown polka dot on teal
            Backing:          4¼ yards
            Binding:           ¾ yard

Cutting Instructions:
                        From each polka dot fat quarter cut:     
                                    (3) 6½" x 18" strips, sub-cut each strip into:
                                                (5) 3½" x 6½" rectangles, for a total of (15) rectangles per fat quarter
                        From background fabrics cut:
                                    (40) 6½" squares of pink polka dot on white
                                    (40) 6½" squares of white polka dot on pink
                        From the pink polka dot on brown cut:
                                    (80) 1½" x 6½" rectangles
                        From the brown polka dot on teal cut
                                    (20) 1½" squares
